School-Parent Partnership
The World Academy – King Abdullah Economic City encourages parents to get involved and make a difference in the school community. To promote student involvement, The World Academy has a parent association and other opportunities including:
- Everyday Math parent workshops to help parents understand The World Academy teaching methods
- Parent and student after school activities options
- Parent Association sponsored events (International Day, UN Day, Fall Festival)
- TWA Learning Gateway communications between school and home for performance tracking and teacher access
- A warm and welcoming school environment that encourages parents to get involved in daily school activities and the classroom
